Meet Kathy

In both my personal and professional life, my primary goal has always been to help others get the best out of their lives and achieve their personal goals.

I founded Authentic Decisions Coaching to help achieve this goal. In all of my work experiences, I have found the most joy and the most success in working one-on-one, so that I’m able to truly get to know someone and how to help them.

My passion for helping others led me to begin my career in the public interest field, first working at the Career Development Center at Bucknell University, founding their Public Interest Program, then moving on to working in career development for the homeless at St. Vincent de Paul in San Diego, CA. Next, I explored how working in the field of law might best allow me to help others.

I found a home in the field of education, first teaching high school English for 11 years until 2018, and then transitioning to teaching a career and finance seminar for high school seniors. In July, 2025 I moved to the Internships and Career Department at Bunker Hill Community College.

As a one-on-one coach, I use all of the skills I have developed and honed as an educator & tutor, and in my broad career and life experiences to help you meet your individual goals!
